Simon has proved himself to be an innovator, a pioneer and a leader over many years and has worked both here and internationally at a vast array of venues ranging from the unassailable bastion of Auckland fine dining, Antoine’s and Michelin starred establishments in the UK.
He has worked for billionaires Simon Fuller and Larry Ellison. He has steered Euro to being recognised as one of Condé Naste Magazine’s top 50 Restaurants in the world. Along the way his talents have been recognised by the industry, winning the Restaurant Association Innovator of the Year Award, the Lewisham Awards, Chef of the Year and Outstanding Hospitality Personality of the Year. Earlier this year he was inducted into the New Zealand Restaurant Association Hall of Fame and most recently named as the Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in the Services Category.
Simon has also carved out a burgeoning Television career fronting Masterchef for the third year in a row and starring in the hit series Chef on a Mission as well as owning a successful premium food and equipment company.
