“Euro must be one of Aucklands finest restaurants;
"mind blasting"!”

I can only say "I love it!". One of the better dining experiences I've ever had.. great vibe, great place, great service, great location ... not cheap, but not excessively extravagant either.. on occasions a splurge is ok.. will call back and can wholeheartedly recommend Euro!

“Food to die for”

I'd heard rave reports about this restaurant and so was initially really disappointed as we were seated outside (very cool winds) and could not hear one another talk as they have taken over the restaurant next door and added a bar. It was packed the night we attended due to the rubgy world cup, and it took some some persuading (like "need to move or we're leaving") and were taken to a quieter part of the restaurant, which was just lovely. And the food was worth the effort because it was sublime! My partner and I shared a dessert that was aniseed brulee with raspberry couli and sherbert - AMAZING!

“Fine dining with the food as well!”

I love Euro. I always have. The reason is simple - their style is great food and plenty of it. Make no mistake this is proper fine dining - but it's the kInd of restaurant that Posh Spice would hate as they serve FOOD not practice art. I decided to go out for a 12 k run in preparation - an effort that was richly rewarded. They do NZ classical food - ideal given the RWC crowd are in town. I had tempura prawns which were both numerous and large and came with great wasabi mayo as good as I have had in Tokyo. The nice sized glass if Te Whare Ra reisling cut through the grease in the tempura nicely. The main event was Lamb skewers with cannelini beans chorizo and salsa plus some garlic mash. I had the veges - broccoli and roast garlic as well. OMFG for a hungry man I defy anyone to put a better feed in front if him! The lamb had generous amounts of fat on it that would have pissed posh spice off but gave the meat moisture and flavor. Add in a glass of Rockburn Pinot and we have a serious party going on! The waitress was great and the pricing more than reasonable (Logan Brown take note - what's going on there?). Get in there lads - great feed is to be had - the missus can have the fish. It makes me cry to think I am moving to the US in two weeks.
